In 2019 LMS added the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Stations to the services we offer our customers. Since that time, we have installed both large and small systems across a range of customer types. In every case the facility owner has been pleased with both their decision to install a system and with LMS’ work.
Attract and Retain Customers, Employees, and Tenants
- Customers – Electric Vehicle drivers will naturally be drawn to facilities that have charging stations they can use while doing business with your company. Their experience with your company can help make them a regular customer.
- Employees – Having EVC stations on site can be one of the benefits you offer to attract and keep great employees.
- Tenants – Providing EVC stations will help attract tenants because of the convenience of being able to charge their vehicle overnight. This could also be an up-sell opportunity providing additional income to you as the facility owner.
Put Your Facility on the Map
Electric Vehicle drivers use cell phone apps to locate charging stations. Having a public charging station will put your facility “on the map” and help bring customers to your business.
Be Ahead of the Curve
The number of electric vehicles in use is growing every day and that trend is projected to increase significantly. Installing an EVC station at your facility will keep you ahead of the curve and help establish you as a preferred business for EV drivers and their friends.
Tax Credits and Utility Incentives
Rocky Mountain Power offers incentives which can pay for much of a system’s installation cost. In addition, EVC stations qualify for federal tax credits and often for state tax credits too. Between tax credits and utility incentives, much of the cost and sometimes most of the cost, of an installation can be paid by others.
